Prevention Coordinator (she/her)

Astraea is responsible for overseeing the implementation of sustainable primary prevention of sexual violence programming statewide. She also serves as staff to the Program Implementation Committee, collaborates with the state core building team, assists in the development of community prevention teams, provides on-site visits and prevention-related training to the Rape Crisis Centers, and serves as the liaison between Green Dot, etc. and KASAP. Previous to joining KASAP, Astraea worked on William & Mary’s campus as a Healthy Relationships/Sexual Violence Prevention Peer Health Educator and as a Confidential Advocate for survivors of sexual assault. Additionally, she interned at the Virginia Sexual & Domestic Violence Action Alliance, working on their Red Flag Campaign.
